“Heliosfera”, a choreographic piece by Vania Vaneau, for 4 performers and 1 musician, was created on April 9, 10, 11, and 12, 2024, at the Subsistances in Lyon as part of the Transforme Festival curated by La Fondation d’entreprise Hermès.
“A space-time, past or future, beyond the earthly, where light would be the first and last of the elements present, allowing the emergence of new bodies and new forms of life.”
More dates coming soon in the agenda ><
“Just as weather and climate phenomena do, cosmological myths tell us about the formation of worlds that emerge from light and darkness. Thus, Heliosfera is a dialogue with light, giving substance to that body which is said to be immaterial. ‘Incandescent or nocturnal material, evanescent or massive,’ from this elementary matter, environments are born, lives, microorganisms, and even stars can arise and disappear.”
